Kim Roney joined KBS in July 2024 as Director of Finance. In this role, she oversees client invoicing and billing, manages all KBS payroll, supports team communications, and assists with other administrative operations across the firm.

Kim graduated from Columbia College with a degree in business. Prior to joining KBS, she worked at the University of Missouri–Columbia in the Procurement Department as a Purchasing Coordinator. After relocating to Kansas City, she spent many years as a Procurement Specialist with Sprint.

Kim later chose to step away from her professional career to focus on raising her children. During that time, she also helped manage her family’s portfolio of rental properties.

Kim is married to Matt Roney. They have two children, Quin and Madie, and reside in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
