Linda Bond

Linda Bond is a founding partner and CFO of KBS, while also working with clients. She began her public career in the Reagan Administration Office of Management and Budget (OMB) press office and later for the director of the Voice of America (VOA). Linda joined the Reagan-Bush presidential campaign in 1984, working for presidential speechwriter Ken Khachigian.

In 1985, Linda then served in Munich as director for Germany for the International Rescue Committee (IRC), assisting Eastern European refugees seeking asylum in the United States, and addressing Yugoslavian refugee entry into Hungary in 1991. She later lead fundraising efforts for Empower America— a think tank that included principles Jack Kemp, Bill Bennett and Jeane Kirkpatrick.

Linda served as finance director for the 1995 and 2000 Steve Forbes presidential campaigns. She then joined with Linus Catignani to form the political and not-for-profit fundraising firm Catignani & Bond. She assisted candidates including Senate Majority Leaders Bill Frist and Mitch McConnell. Her firm also managed and directed the Senate Cloakroom activities—raising funds, managing support services and producing events—for the 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020 Republican National Conventions.

For more than a decade, Linda worked as a consultant to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, leading Washington DC activities, coordinating major fundraising events in Washington, D.C., New York and Los Angeles with Mrs. Reagan, and leading the Centennial celebration for President Reagan across Central Europe and the United Kingdom. Other efforts included raising money for statues and producing the unveilings ceremonies in the Capitol Rotunda, Reagan Airport, Central London, Budapest and Tbilisi.

Serving in a volunteer capacity, Linda was a principal organizer of the Washington National Cathedral portion of the state funeral of President Ronald Reagan. She was also a principal organizer of the National Cathedral portion of the state funeral of President Gerald Ford and the services of Senator John McCain. Linda served as a Commissioner on the Commission on White House Fellows, one of America’s most prestigious programs for leadership and public service, from 2016 through 2020.

Linda Bond was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri and the University of Maryland, graduating summa cum laude in Art History.
